Charlene Ren, UN Young Champion on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for Disaster and Climate Resilience
To address the climate crisis and raise more awareness of building resilience to disasters based on Nature, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the Partnership for Environment and Disaster Risk Reduction (PEDRR) launched the course, Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for Disaster and Climate Resilience, in 2021, hosted on the SDG Academy/edX platform, thanks to the support from the European Union. Due to popular demand, the course has been extended until the end of 2022, and it is also available on the NetEase platform in Chinese.
