About the initiative
It explores pathways to diversified and equitable rural livelihoods in an inclusive agrifood economy and the changes needed for rural people to access economic opportunities and escape poverty.
The RDR is the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD)’s flagship report. The launch event in China is jointly organized by the IFAD China Office and the China Center for Agricultural Policy (CCAP) of Peking University. The event is in follow up to a series of initiatives around the UN Food System Summit in 2021.
